One page (or one number) so that it\u2019s easy to see how you\u2019re doing at a glance<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Keep it to numbers<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Measure the Most Important Thing(s)<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deep inside, we all know what the most important thing really is. Whether it is in our taproom business or in our life, we know what it is. The problem is that we forget.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The most important thing\u2026is remembering the most important thing. The scorecard helps you identify what is most important and remember it every day.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is a simple tactic, but very effective if you follow it. The scorecard provides focus on how you\u2019re doing towards what\u2019s most important.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>How to Figure Out the Most Important Thing<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If you are struggling to figure out what is most important, try a few focusing questions:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What keeps you up at night?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the biggest opportunity to take advantage of?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">What is the biggest problem you need to fix?<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>My story\u2026cash keeps me up at night.\u00a0 More specifically, <\/b><b><i>running out of cash<\/i><\/b><b> keeps me up.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, I designed a one-page scorecard to monitor our business cash position every day.
