Use This Brewery Financial Planning System

Below are the basic sections of a brewery financial planning system:

1. Sales forecast
2. Cost of Sales (COGs) / Margins
3. Operating Expense plan (OPEX)
4. EBITDA or Net Income
5. Capital Expense plan (CAPEX)
6. Debt service

Each of the sections in the financial planning system fit together like puzzle pieces.

The sales forecast links to the COGs and margin forecast. The operating expense plan supports the sales plan. The capital spending plan supports the overall financial and operational structure of your brewery.

Once you have the system laid out, the next step is to add more detail to each section. And before you know it, you’ll have a financial game plan ready to roll out to your entire organization.
